Valdosta Newcomer's Club
The Valdosta Newcomer’s Club was founded in March 2001. The purpose of the
Newcomer’s Club is to provide a way for newcomers to meet new
friends, engage in fun activities together and become involved in their
new community.

Newcomer Testimonial "The Valdosta Newcomers Club has been so rewarding to me. My husband and I retired to Valdosta because we felt so welcome and at home the very first time we arrived to look for a new home. We knew right away this is where we wanted to live. We are within driving distance to Florida, the beaches and many tourist attractions, not to mention the beautiful weather. The greeting service welcomed us right away. Getting to know the members of the club it has not only made me feel welcomed but also needed as a friend. I have become very involved with the club as a leader in gardening and crafting and it is very rewarding to learn ideas from the members. We all share something in common, we are all new here. We can all relate to the fact that moving isn’t fun, but it is what you do after that, that makes it all worth it. The club supports smaller interest groups which meet
monthly such as: Bunko, Moms & Tots, Book Club, Couples Night,
Lunch Bunch, Scrapbooking, Gardening Club, and Unpacking the Boxes
Class. The Newcomer’s Club calendar provides dates and times
